As transport coordinator you are responsible for organizing reliable and efficient transport to our customers. Assisted by digital tools you will execute transport planning for a region of customers and are taking responsibility until the shipment has been delivered. You will be working closely with your colleagues in customer service and supply planning to improve our delivery performance and work towards more efficient and sustainable transport solutions. Next to these responsibilities you will be involved in improvement projects in line with your personal growth ambition.
Your key responsibilities
- Transport planning: Creation of deliveries that are forwarded to Envaliors contracted carriers in collaboration with our logistic service providers.
- Transport coordination: In case of transport related issues you need to step in and resolve the issue at hand in collaboration with our suppliers and your peers in customer service, supply planning and warehousing.
- Performance management: Report and manage the “On Time” performance for the carriers in your domain and collaborate with our logistics service providers and your peers to improve this performance in case this performance is under target.
- Improving transport: Analyse your portfolio, look for and act on improvement opportunities and report out to the logistics management team.
- Execute improvement projects in line with your personal growth ambition.
- Display and support positive behavior towards safety, health and environment and participate in events improving safety.
The challenge
- You will be working in an international environment, English is the standard language.
- You will be working closely together with your peers at supply planning, customer service and logistic service providers across our sites globally.
- You will be reporting on delivery reliability for your domain and have a direct responsibility for the targets of your region and by extension the global logistics organization.

You Bring
- A BSc in supply chain management, economics, or a similar field or equal work experience in the field of transportation and logistics.
- Proven communication skills as you will be dealing with a large and global group of stakeholders and peers.
- A learning and pro-active mindset.
- A hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership.
- A team player that will collaborate across the functions.
This role can be based in either Geleen (Netherlands) or Antwerp (Belgium) offices.
